I hope you are keeping well and coping with the increasingly strict restrictions on everyday life. Maybe because of the situation, time appears to have flown this year and it is already the time of year for our AGM. Unfortunately this won’t be our usual sociable affair and will have to conducted in a socially distant fashion using Zoom.
Details of this will be circulated in due course but please be aware that the AGM will be conducted at 7.30pm on Friday 30th October.
As you may realise my term as commodore will end at this AGM and I expect David Chalmers, who has served as vice commodore with dedication and enthusiasm, to put his name forward for commodore. However I would encourage anyone who is interested in joining the committee in any role to put themselves forward. To do this you have to put your own name forward and also receive a nomination from another member. I am attaching the nomination form to this emai. Alternatively, under current circumstances,if you and your nominee email me this will be acceptable. The final date for receipt of nominations is Friday 16th October.
I look forward to seeing you there.
